2013 has kicked off the start of our Ultimate Senior Experience. We're taking our senior portraits in a new direction. Our seniors have worked very hard for 12 years through school and they deserve more than just a few hours of impersonnal shooting.
The Ultimate Senior Experience includes pre-shoot and post-shoot consultations with custom designed session tours. Our pre-shoot consult is a casual meet and greet where we get to know our graduate and our graduate gets to know us. We take what we know about our graduate and what vision they have for their senior portraits and create a custom session tour of locations to shoot at. During this time we suggest props and give clothing options and advice. We find that the pre-shoot consult helps overcome any shooting day fears our graduates may have.
On the day of the shoot, because we established our route in advance and we know the graduate's expectations, we can relax a little bit and just have fun. We hit as many locations as we can during the time we have, making pit stops along the way for outfit changes, make-up touch-ups, etc.
The next day, we (James and Linda) begin sorting and processing the images. We always over shoot, meaning we have more images than we'll ever use! We usually shoot around 200-300 images to pick our favorites from. After our favs are selected we upload those images onto a private, online album that our graduate has access to and can share with friends and family.
Ordering pictures can be overwhelming. We've "Been there. Done that." That's why we offer the post-session consultation. The post-session consultation gives the graduate and parents the opportunity to sit with us and discuss how to maximize their budget and how to pick which pictures and picture sizes are best for them. It's an opportunity for questions about packages and poses. It's also a great opportunity to discuss editing.
We do our best to have a quick turn around with our processing. We ask our clients to give us about a week to edit your images. Most times, editing can occur in 2-4 days, but because sometimes "life happens", in general a week gives us enough time to finish your editing.
All of our images are printed through a professional, out of state lab that uses a dye sublimation process. This means that the ink is saturated in the paper as opposed to the popular ink jet printers where the ink is on top of the paper and easily scratched off. Our prints are also textured to help protect the picture from scratches and UV rays. Once your order is placed, it takes approximately 5 business days for us to have the images back from the lab and in your hand. There's no need to wait 2 months for your senior pictures to be in your hand!
We invite you to experience the difference from custom service to creativity to personal attention that our studio gives our graduates. It's our way of saying, "Congradulations".
