It’s that time of year. The days get shorter, the nights get cooler, Friday nights are spent at your high school football games, and of course the search for the perfect homecoming dress and date begin!
Homecoming week is always filled with school spirit, making memories and the best chaos that chaos can offer.
Why not have that photographed? Why not have a physical image that you can hold, touch, and keep forever? Who knows, this very homecoming night could be the beginning to the rest of your life! For me, it was!
Homecoming night was the very first date my husband and I went on. And you’d never guess what that night lacked… PICTURES!!! I do not have ONE picture from that night. Nothing but fading memories to look back on. Nothing to show my daughters what my dress looked like, how my hair was fixed (you know I was rocking those tall 90’s bangs), or how handsome their daddy was that night. We have other pictures, like the one below from a photobooth taken at the mall on a totally different date, but it’s not the same as having a homecoming portrait.
Not having a professional homecoming or prom portrait is the exact reason why when I opened Studio 61 I committed myself to be available for students and their family’s who want to have more than a faded memory, like I have. As someone who doesn’t have one, trust me when I say you’re going to want a Homecoming portrait. Homecoming portraits are the best way to memorialize these quickly passing days as a high school student.
